Positively Pink is a new organisation established here on the coast and is dedicated to raising money in order to fund the improvement and enhancement medical treatment & to fund a support group for Breast Cancer patients in the Malaga Province and in particular the Marbella area.
Breast cancer has no respect for age and young woman can devolp this condition as well as older woman, Kylie Minogue and Gerry Halliwell are testament to this, so its recommended that all woman should have a regular scan, regardless of age.
The Positively Pink charity has produced a DVD, avaliable free, which is uplifting and features loacl woman who have been treated for breast cancer. They tell there individual stories, including their dark days, but though positive thinking they offer encouragement and support. Their courage and strength of character is an inspiration to us all.
Finally, Positively Pink, like every other charity, needs support and volunteers to help though organising fund rasing events. Positively Pink provides an invaluable service and needs your help to keep this service in place. All proceeds go to Positively Pink and El Oceano Beach Hotel absorbs all admin fees, if you would like to make a donation or help with a fund raising event, please dont hesitate to contact us.

We are delighted to announce that, as from the 1st of July until the 6th of October, ladies living on the costa del sol will be able to have a 3D ultra breast scan, paid for by Positively Pink. A voucher can be obtained from the El Oceano Spa on Tuesdays between 11.30am and 5.30pm. It entitles any British passport holder over the age of 17 to a 3D ultra sound breast scan at Xanit Internationaln Hospital in Benalmadena. Woman who are not British passport holders are offerd exactly the same service for the minimal cost of 50euros, with Positively Pink charity paying the balance. |
