Positively Pink is a new organisation established here on the coast and is dedicated to raising money in order to fund the improvement and enhancement medical treatment & to fund a support group for Breast Cancer patients in the Malaga Province and in particular the Marbella area. Positively Pink has been formed with the help of Lexland Abogadoa and DMA Legal, and has total legal states as a charity in Spain, Positively Pink has an independent Charity bank account and its charity number is G 92860477.

The decision to raise money in aid of Breast Cancer was originally taken by a group of ex. Pat ladies here on the coast in the belief that the disease is something that has touched almost everyone whether family, friend, work associates we all know someone or have heard of someone who has gone through or is going through treatment for this dreadful disease.

Our aim is to raise sufficient funds to improve and enhance medical treatment by providing transportation in order to take patients to and from Malaga city center, (as we all know travelling into Malaga is not easy for those whoare well),obviously patientsare unable to travel by themselves and unfortunately familymembers are not always available to helpas treatment is an on going, daily basis for up to 4 weeksat a time and in addition to this a support group for anyone going through treatment fund a support group for Breast Cancer patients in the Malaga Province and in particular the Marbella area.

Positively Pink so far has raised 72,000€ and held 3 events; a sponsored walk in May, a Golf day to be held during the summer & a Glamorous Pink Ball in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, these events have now been confirmed to be held annually.

All proceeds go to Positively Pink and El Oceano Beach Hotel absorbs all admin fees, QDigital Imaging develope and maintain our website, and Alphashare host our website at no charge.
